Not the first time. The first time you fall in love your head feels so swampy that it's hard to walk a straight line.
The second time you fall in love you have a bit more control and are able to appreciate how everything suddenly seems more amazing.
That is how I feel these days.
Hi Kev,
ReplyDeleteIt's been a lifetime it seems since we've been in touch, but when your name appeared in the subject line of a recent email from my mom, I had a flashback of that road trip out west in 1981. Riding in the back of the car with towels over our heads so we could see our video games, making silly skits poolside to bore my mom with, generally misbehaving... it makes me smile. Fun times in Muskoka, losing all the time at trivial pursuit, such that no one wanted me on their team (for the record I do remember that you were at least nice about it)... Anyways, you are in my thoughts constantly. Sending you good vibes, and hoping we can catch up in person some day soon. Take care old friend and keep the updates coming. Glad to read you're positive thoughts. I see you haven't changed a bit in the 20 or so yrs since I saw you last. :-)
